ABOUT ME
Hi there! I'm Amanda Sorensen, and I'm the person behind Europa. Europa is named after one of the moons of Jupiter as a tribute to my love of all things science, but I also have a passion for several of the arts including dance, watercolors, calligraphy, florals, baking, and even crochet. After getting my degree in biology, I decided to combine my love of art and science in the form of flower arrangements, a perfect marriage of molecular beauty and visual beauty, while offering other items as well such as calligraphy and paintings.
I've been a professional freelance florist for 3 years and I love it more and more as time goes by. I love that flowers can display different moods and feelings and be as unique as the person they are for, whether its for a wedding, a funeral, or an arrangement for any occasion. I try to truly offer clients what they are wanting and bring an analytic and artistic approach to flowers to convey their vision.
